Welcome at THATec Innovation!
Our motivation is to help you to focus on the essential: your research.
#automateyourlab
The lab automation framework thaTEC:OS is the most versatile solution for any research lab! Easily control any number of devices on any number of PCs. Never forget to note down any device setting any more with the integrated labbook. Keep track on all your measurements via a measurement database. Future-proof by using the open-source data format HDF5.

Custom built microscopes
Our custom built microscopes are ready for your lab! Brillouin light scattering, Raman scattering, NV center, time-resolved Kerr effect or maybe fluorescence microscopy? No problem! Wether you want to upgrade your system or build a new one from scratch. Get us involved from the beginning and profit from our experience. We will design the whole beam path from the laser to the detector and set up everything right in your lab!
By scientists for scientists
aving worked and graduated in basic research, we know the small and time-consuming struggles which pop up in the lab every day. Thus, our products are solely dedicated to help you to concentrate on your scientific tasks and bring your lab to the next level!
If you want to get more details about our scientific work and expertise, in particular for microfocused Brillouin light scattering, have a look at the following publication by our co-founder Dr. Thomas Sebastian et al.:

05.05.2022 PyThat: Python package to read thaTEC:OS measurement files
If you are using Python to process and analyze your measurement data, have a look at the python package PyThat available on PyPi and GitHub.
The project PyThat is a community package created by Matthias Schweizer of AG Magnetismus in Kaiserslautern, Germany. It helps reading .h5 files created by thaTEC:OS and converts them into xarray objects and netcdf files.
Funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) -TRR 173 - 268565370 (Spin+X).
12.04.2022 New version out: TFPDAS6!
The new version was optimized for the best performance: The new optimized data processing and data communication saves ~130 ms per scan. For a spectrum with 200 scans, the acquisition with identical parameters is 26 s faster per spectrum compared to TFPDAS5!
More information can be found here.

26.03.2020 We are supporting #teilenfuersheilen
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many trade-fairs were canceled and - as it is the case for many other food start-ups - orders went down. Thus, Gipfelpuls decided to use their stocked products in the best way and to freely provide them to our doctors and nurses in the hospitals who are working hard these days to fight Corona.
With this initiative, you can support Gipfelpuls and other joining food start-ups to cover their costs for the free deliveries and survive these tough times!
=> Start supporting and check out www.teilenfuersheilen.de for more information.
